Online order terms
These terms apply to quotes and orders placed through this online tool. Our Terms of Business also apply. If a term in an individually agreed written quote differs, that agreed term takes priority for that order. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Who you are ordering from
Phoenix Additive is the trading brand of The Creative Parrot, operated by Arty Smith as a UK sole trader. Our address is 3 Bro Brwynog, Treuddyn, Flintshire, CH7 4AL, United Kingdom. Contact us about orders or complaints at arty@phoenixadditive.co.uk or +44 7933 074845.
What you are ordering
Your order is for manufacture from your uploaded model with the material, colour, print settings, quantity and delivery choice shown in the saved quote and checkout summary. Check the file and choices before paying. Unless we have expressly agreed design or engineering work, manufacture from your file does not mean we have independently validated it for your intended use. Tell us before ordering about critical tolerances, safety-critical or regulated uses, or special finish requirements; these may need a personal quote.
Price and payment
The checkout displays the full price, including the chosen delivery charge and any Rush order fee, before you pay. Rush is offered for UK delivery only and adds the greater of 35% of the standard quoted order total or £30, once per order. No VAT is added. Quotes expire after seven days. A quote marked for personal review cannot be paid until we confirm it. Card payment is handled on SumUp’s secure page; we do not receive your card details. We mark an order paid only after verifying the transaction with SumUp. If we cannot manufacture an accepted order as quoted, we will contact you and offer an appropriate change or a refund.
Production and delivery
We start production after payment and any required review. Production and dispatch dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date in writing. Carrier transit estimates run from dispatch, not from payment. Rush means priority printing where feasible and UPS Express Saver, aiming for next-working-day delivery after dispatch; it is not a guaranteed delivery date. Timing depends on payment time, print duration, inspection, collection, destination and working days. We will contact you promptly if a material delay becomes apparent. International import duties and taxes may be charged separately to the recipient.
Changes, cancellation and problems
Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order. Bespoke parts made to a customer’s specifications may fall within the exception to the usual consumer distance-selling cancellation right under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We will assess the particular order rather than assume that every part qualifies. This does not affect statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for an agreed purpose. For business orders, cancellation after work or material is committed is subject to our written agreement and reasonable non-recoverable costs. If something is wrong, contact us with the order reference and details so we can assess a correction, reprint, replacement or refund as appropriate.
Files and privacy
We use your uploaded design to quote, manufacture, inspect and support your order. Your design remains yours. See our Privacy Policy for how files and customer details are held and retained.
